About Laura
I started tutoring Algebra in high school 25 years ago and have tutored math of all kinds since. I edited essays and term papers in high school and college for extra money and tutored elementary grammar. I have an Associate's Degree, a Bachelor's Degree, a Master's Degree, and a JD. I believe the Oxford Comma is proper. I show up when I say I will and I do what I promise.

I am enthusiastic and dynamic about teaching. I look at student as visual, audio, or kinesthetic learners and work with their style to help them understand the concepts in the way best suited for their needs. Teaching an elementary child is very different than an 8th grader which is different than someone about to take the GRE, but I have strategies for all three. I have a willingness to educate those who have desire.
