My approach to teaching is simple; my goal is for your academic success. I will provide the materials and encouragement and ask that students be active learners. I would like you to inform me of what you would like to focus on in advance, so we can work together and ensure that you are confident in your final assessments.
A typical lesson would be approximately 50 to 60 minutes long and would include a warming-up activity, followed by marking feedback and a reflection on past work, then we would work on what you require help with, followed by a set of goals and possibly homework before the next session. I am flexible in changing this structure if you prefer something different. I have worked as a GCSE tutor for English students, aged between 15 and 16 for roughly a year, and I have found that this format works well.
