As mentioned, I have been doing private math tutoring for 3+ years and have worked with a wide variety of students and learning styles. I have been doing private mathematics tutoring for 3+ years across many mathematics subjects at all education levels. I teach according to the student's learning style and use basic questions in a math subject to quickly identify strengths and weaknesses. The goal is to play to the student's strengths while helping them further develop their learning strategies to address their weaknesses. A typical lesson plan is starting off with "muscle memory" exercises in a math topic the student is working on for a course, and then using challenge problems to teach flexibility in that topic so that the student can become more confident in their problem solving. These lessons are for students at all levels of their mathematics education.
