About Lyla
English and writing have always been my strongest areas, ever since elementary school. My passion for the two is almost innate, which has made pursuing my degrees a very enjoyable experience. I cannot think of a better way to apply the knowledge I have gained than to pass it on to those who may need it. Writing is a challenge, even for the best of the best; however, that truth should never discourage you from trying, and I wish for all of my clients to know and embrace that.

I specialize in college-level essay writing. Throughout my final year at Webster University, I worked as a Writing Coach in their Academic Resource Center. I am also currently part of Tutor.com, where I continue to coach college-level writing.
First and foremost, I want to meet you at whichever level you are at in the writing process, so it is important to me that you get to speak first about your specific concerns!
From there, depending on the basis of the appointment, we will go through your piece of writing and focus the majority of our attention on higher-order elements (thesis statement, organization, clarity, etc...). Lower-order elements will come after. Regardless, though, both areas will receive constructive advice and helpful resources to further help you through the writing process post-appointment!
From brainstorming ideas to thesis statement development, from outlining paragraphs to effectively incorporating evidence, I will try my hardest to shed light on all of it!
