About Katherine
I'm Katherine -- A fairly recent graduate with a degree in Biotechnology. I was always very good at Biology, to the point where I would be the first person asked to help larger groups of students within my classes in both high school and university. I taught and tutored Biology after university for around 2 years and during this time, I helped students getting 40's and 50's on their report cards achieve 80's and 90's grades. I achieved this because I connected with students and considered their needs even outside of academics -- I NEVER set homework deadlines and gave them the freedom to express themselves and who they are. And now, they are performing way above where people expected them to at this stage. When I work with students, they are guaranteed success.

I help students grow to a point where they can help themselves. The first session of teaching involves finding out where a student is academically and forming a plan to ensure they improve or meet their goals. Each lesson after that is carefully planned to ensure it is meeting every milestone set in the first lesson, using games, simulations, and inquiry-based instruction. ALL LESSONS ARE INTERACTIVE and are for people in high school and university who need help in any way academically.
