About Manaal
Hello! My name is Manaal and I'm an art and design tutor living in London. I studied design at Goldsmiths University of London, where I learnt a lot about drawing, painting, graphic design, and making 3D models using cool software and even machinery! I've worked on many cool projects, from designing newspaper layouts to creating 3D printed figures. I love teaching kids and helping them discover their creativity. My lessons are fun and interactive, and I like to help you lead the way with where you want your work to go. Whether you like drawing, painting, or working with computers, I'm here to help you learn and grow as an artist!

Teaching Methodology: "No student learns the same but we all deserve to learn!" My lessons are tailored to students and involve: Interactive Learning- art is best learnt practically, Visual Aids- side-by-side learning and iterating + helping students explore and learn about the creative world, Personalised Feedback, and goal setting (every student requires their own pace). Level: Beginners to intermediate in art, design, or digital media. Age: all ages from 6+ (never too late to learn!) Hours: Typically 1 hour, adjustable to 30-45 minutes for younger students. Education: BA (Hons) in Design from Goldsmiths University of London. A level in Art - A. Experience: Leading design projects (Head of Design for Leopard newspaper), providing one-on-one and group aid (department student coordinator), assisting with project development, and volunteering with special needs children. What I offer: (Don't be afraid to ask even if you don't see exactly what you're looking for. These are just a few of my skills haha!) Range of art: Drawing- anatomy, landscapes, still life, calligraphy etc. Painting- range of mediums (acrylics, watercolour, oil, charcoal etc) Digital design: Adobe- Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro etc. Typography, layout work, template use etc. 3D Design: Blender, Rhino Basics of art and design. Starting skills to set you up and keep you going!

Perfect! Manaal has been a wonderful art teacher for Arya. Arya looks forward to her lessons every week and always comes away inspired and excited to create more.
Manaal strikes the perfect balance between keeping lessons fun and engaging while also focusing on building strong foundational skills.

Perfect! My dad wanted to learn calligraphy and i found Manaal on superprof for the same. She was extremely patient throughout and has a unique ability to break down complex techniques into simple, easy-to-understand steps, making it understandable even for beginners like my dad (who actually took more classes than planned).
She was very encouraging throughout the session, providing personalized feedback and guidance that helped him improve his skills significantly.
She was also very flexible and came prepared with her notes and also gave personalised practice sheets which were hand written. Overall it was a great experience :)- A great student: eager to learn, a good listener, willing to work on mistakes, and great conversationalist!Manaal's response :

Manaal is an excellent teacher who is very knowledgeable about her subject. She is patient with her students and motivates them via positive reinforcement. I would definitely recommend her.
