I hold a B.S. in Human Biology and an M.S. in Biomedical Sciences, and I will be starting medical school this year. A Typical Lesson Plan
Each lesson is structured to maximize comprehension and retention:
1. Warm-Up & Review (5-10 min) – Recap of previous material to reinforce learning
2. Concept Introduction (15-20 min) – Breakdown of new topics using engaging explanations and examples
3. Guided Practice (20-30 min) – Working through problems together to apply the concept
Independent Practice (15-20 min) – Student-led exercises to build confidence
4. Q&A & Wrap-Up (10 min) – Addressing any questions and summarizing key takeaways
