I can teach and help you understand and master many fundamental concepts about biochemistry, biology, physiology, pharmacology, toxicology and immunology!
I mainly focus on helping you master one concept at a time, from simple to complicated. Given that many subjects are complex and interconnected, I find it best to focus on small pieces of the human bio-puzzle, down to the little details. Ex: why do some vaccines need an adjuvant to work? We first have to understand how the process of inflammation works to combat external dangers, and how it helps develop an adequate immune response.
I also love to do crash courses that help give a more global understanding of a concept. Ex: ß-agonist/antagonist mecanism of action, the digestion and absorption of nutrients, the creation of an action potential, etc.
I am very patient and meticulous in my teaching and love to take the time to master the little details that help to understand the basics of a health science field.
I have done tutoring with CEGEP students for 2 years in organic chemistry and biology, so I welcome CEGEP and university students to reach out!
