I have experience tutoring in mathematics, specifically algebra, that requires and doesn’t require a calculator. I tutor multiple students and go over the entire problem by breaking it down and explaining it in a way many students could somehow grasp the idea of how to solve the equation. I believe what sets me apart from the tutors is how tutoring is done. I believe tutoring gives students the opportunity when a teacher can’t or isn’t available to assist them, the tutor can come to aid the students in need.
