About Kashika

Hi! I’m a university student who enjoys math and helping others understand it in a simple, manageable way. I completed my Mathematics IGCSEs and International A Levels, so I understand how stressful math classes and exams can sometimes feel.

I want to tutor because I enjoy helping students work through problems and seeing things finally “click” for them. I’m patient, easygoing, and happy to explain something in different ways until it makes sense.

My lessons are a comfortable space where you can ask questions without feeling embarrassed or rushed. Whether you need help with homework, exam preparation, or want to feel more confident in math, I’ll work at your pace and focus on the areas you need most.

About the lesson

I offer online Mathematics tutoring for students up to and including GCSE/IGCSE level. My teaching approach is patient, clear, and adapted to each student’s needs. I break difficult topics into simple steps, explain the reasoning behind methods, and use worked examples followed by practice questions to build confidence and understanding.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and can include topic revision, homework support, exam-style questions, or help with specific areas the student finds difficult. However, during a time period closer to exams, I don't mind teaching for 90 minutes if required by the student.

I completed my IGCSEs and International A Levels, so I am familiar with the syllabus structure and exam preparation process.

My lessons are suitable for primary and secondary school students, including those who need extra support, want to improve their grades, strengthen their mathematical foundations, or prepare for GCSE/IGCSE examinations. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and learning from mistakes.
