About Josiah
I have 5 years of tutoring experience that I gained while pursuing my degree in college; I was a student at this time, so I understand the struggle of trying get good grades in my classes. When I tutor, I aim to provide a judgement-free zone that helps my students develop confidence in their skills. Every student has a different background, and this is something to respect. Mathematics is a skill that needs to be developed and practiced. It's not something that comes easy to most people, and I always maintain a patient and considerate attitude towards those who are asking for help.

My tutoring sessions are designed to suit your needs. Everyone works at a different pace and has different needs, so I aim to design a lesson plan that best fits your needs.
In a typical tutoring session, I will help you work through homework assignments, practice tests or quizzes, and I will ask to go over your class notes so that I have an idea of where you are in the class material. Throughout the session, I will assess your skills on the subject and highlight where you might need improvement.
My services are open to anyone who needs assistance with their math.
