About Anusara
My tutoring journey began with the Nenasa Education platform here in Sri Lanka, where I taught hundreds of students and created educational content focused on computer science fundamentals, programming, and problem-solving. Since then, I have continued to teach learners of all levels, from complete beginners to university students, helping them gain the confidence and skills they need to excel. The subjects I teach cover a wide range of computer science topics, including: Computer fundamentals and architecture Programming in Python, MATLAB, and other languages Data structures and algorithms Databases and SQL Data science basics and applied machine learning Software development principles Internet and web technologies My teaching method is simple but effective: I explain concepts in a clear, step-by-step way, always using practical examples and real projects so students can apply what they learn immediately. Beyond teaching, I’ve built real-world technology solutions, such as MENTO — an AI-powered educational app with a personalized recommendation engine — and other software tools involving artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and educational technology. I have over 5 years of tutoring experience, both independently and through the Nenasa Education platform, where I helped students across Sri Lanka understand complex IT and mathematics concepts in a simple, practical way.
I specialize in Data Science, Mathematics for Computing, Computer Science fundamentals, and AI-related topics, with hands-on expertise in Python, MATLAB, and data analysis.
