About Ava
I want to tutor because I enjoy helping others gain confidence in their learning. When students start to understand a topic that once felt difficult, it can make a huge difference to both their results and their confidence at school. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing the skills they need to succeed.

I offer supportive and personalised tutoring for students in Years 7–10 in both Maths and English. With a recent ATAR of 96.2 (98.2 including the Specialist Mathematics adjustment), I have a strong understanding of the current curriculum and what students need to succeed in exams and assignments.
My lessons focus on building both understanding and confidence. In maths, I help students break down difficult concepts step-by-step and practise problem-solving techniques. In English, I work with students on essay structure, analysing texts, improving written expression, and preparing for exams.
Each session is tailored to the student’s needs. We can review schoolwork, prepare for upcoming assessments, or strengthen areas they find challenging. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and developing the skills they need to perform at their best.
