About Madison
During my time at Sac State University, I took genetics, molecular cell biology, microbiology, anatomy, physiology, and many other classes that gave me a well-rounded understanding of how the body functions, how diseases work, and how cells communicate. I have a passion for teaching and would love to share my knowledge and understanding of biology.

When I went to Sac State, there were student-led tutoring classes called PAL (Peer-Assisted Learning), where the instructors were told not to give answers but to ask leading questions that lead a student to the answers themselves, which can build confidence and independence in a student's learning. Depending on the level of the student's understanding, I would either take this approach or explain concepts in simple steps and use examples to build a stronger foundation if they needed more help.
