About Yakup

My English adventure started after I finished my psychology degree. But there were times when I wished it had started much earlier. Because English is truly a world language. After you start reading, speaking and writing in English, you suddenly find yourself in a common cultural pool with people from different cultures from all over the world.
Being able to read and write in English was what made it possible for me to study cultural studies at Bilgi University and study political psychology at Stanford.

About the lesson

The most effective way to learn a foreign language will be to 'UNDERSTAND' our emotional relationship with that language. A new language means a new identity. It means rebuilding ourselves in a new mirror of meaning. A new language is an opportunity to rediscover and rebuild what gives us pleasure, what worries us, and what we are stressed about.
