About Arjon Paul
Hello! I am a passionate and experienced math tutor dedicated to helping students succeed and build strong confidence in their skills. I hold a degree in mathematics and have years of experience guiding students through subjects ranging from basic arithmetic to advanced calculus.

My teaching style is interactive and simple to follow, making math feel easy and fun. I use a simple system: first I show you how to do a problem, then we work on one together, and finally you try one on your own. I specialize in breaking down scary formulas and hard ideas into small, clear steps using everyday examples. Instead of just lecturing, I ask questions that help students think for themselves and solve problems on their own.
Each 60-minute lesson is broken into four easy parts. We start with a 10-minute warm-up to go over homework and clear up any quick questions. Next, we spend 15 minutes learning the new lesson and important formulas. Then, we spend 20 minutes practicing together, fixing mistakes as we go. We finish the last 15 minutes with the student trying a problem on their own, reviewing what we learned, and planning for the next session.
What makes me different is my patience and my focus on making students feel safe and comfortable. I make sure no one feels bad for asking questions, which helps reduce math stress and build real confidence. Since everyone learns differently, I quickly change my approach using pictures, logic, or hands-on practice until everything makes sense. My goal isn't just to help students pass a test, but to teach them smart study habits that help in every subject.
I teach middle school, high school, and basic college students. My main subjects are Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus. Whether a student wants to raise their grades, prepare for a test, fix old learning gaps, or just feel good about math again, I match my lessons to what they need.
