About William
My name is Will and I am a Full-time Spatial Consultant. With a background in Zoology, Ecology, Land Use, Urban Development and Consultancy, I want to share my real life experience with you and help you enter the world of GIS. My goal is to be able to get you excited about Spatial Science and Cartography, and help you understand the limitless opportunities that you can pursue in this industry. I hope to facilitate you on your journey to enter the workforce as a Spatial expert.
I am a very upbeat, excitable and patient tutor who will give you structured content that is easy-to-follow and designed to be engaging.

The world is ever-changing with new technologies constantly emerging and the need for new solutions to global problems rising . The world of GIS is becoming increasingly popular due to these changes, and the need for a better understanding of the natural and built environments is in high-demand.
These lessons are designed to equip you with the skills to be able to provide real solutions to real problems in our world as well as create highly attractive visual representations of data, that catch the attention of future employers.

The lessons I will teach will cover introductory concepts in GIS and are suitable for students of all levels. If you are looking to gain a basic understanding of Spatial Science and explore how you can start a career in the industry, then look you've come to the right place!
How each lesson looks:
My teaching approach is about listening to you, and understanding what YOU need the most out of our one-on-one sessions. There will be some theoretical principles that I cover initially in each lesson, but I believe that a more practical, real-world style of teaching is more powerful when it comes to GIS.
I will demonstrate handling spatial data using Industry Standard ArcMap and Arc share resources
