About Isabella
I am a Japanese and English teacher that enjoys reading, playing the piano, going to the gym, competitive dance and exploring new restaurants and cafes in Sydney. I want to teach because I enjoy watching the process of students learning and understanding new content that they originally could not understand. It is such a rewarding feeling knowing you have helped a student understand any concept, and being able to connect with your students through common ground to assist them with their learning is something that brings me joy. I am very enthusiastic about teaching, and I love helping students feel more involved in their learning environments.

I often start my lessons with a short quiz to review what had been worked on in the previous lesson, and then ask my students what they want to focus on in this lesson. From there, we will combine a focus on what the student needs help with with what I feel the student needs to improve on in order to address as many areas of improvement as possible. I have 8 years of tutoring experience, tutoring English, Maths and Japanese for students aged 13-18 (Year 7 - Year 12).
