Hi, my name is Guido I am 29 years old and I have a Degree in Languages and Communication, TOEFL Certificate, I am Bilingual Italian-English, and I have lived for years in California, USA. I am currently in Italy and I really like teaching languages taking care and attention to the details of my students' requests. The methodology I use in teaching the English language is through 11 Methods: 1 Grammatical-translating Written literary texts Translation from English into the mother tongue 2 Direct method (also known as natural method) Spoken everyday language The student learns by associating the meaning directly in English 3 Audio-oral method Phrase and sound models Oral comprehension and production exercises and on models exclusively in English 4 Cognitive approach Grammar rules English grammar rules inferred and subsequently understood in context 5 - Silent Way method Student interaction rather than the teacher The teacher remains silent to allow the student to understand how English works 6 Suggestopedia Significant texts and vocabulary Relaxed atmosphere, presence of music; encourages subliminal learning 7 Community Language Learning Student interaction Understanding English through student active interaction 8 Understanding approach: natural approach, The Learnables and total physical response Oral understanding Oral expression in English is postponed when the students are ready; meaning is clarified through actions and images 9 Communicative method Interaction, real communication and negotiation of meaning Understanding English through the student's active interaction: role-playing games, games and information gaps 10 Content-based, task-based and participatory What is communicated, not the structure of English Content based on relevance to life 11 Teaching learning strategies, cooperative learning and multiple intelligences How to learn Teaching learning strategies, collaboration; the activities vary according to the different intelligences
