About Gisella
My name is Gisella and I am 25 years old. I graduated (Laurea Magistrale) in Philosophy with full marks at the University of Salerno with a thesis in medieval and humanistic philosophy.
During my years in high school I was lucky enough to meet teachers who helped me to grow not only as a student but also as a person, so since then my desire has been to become a teacher.
Waiting of the teacher competition I have already followed middle school and high school students, both for the annual preparation and for the one aimed at the final exams, and moreover during the last months I have worked as didactic support in a private institute with students of different ages (7-18 years).

As a teacher I try not to present a teaching method a priori as I am strongly convinced of the uniqueness of the individual from every point of view. For this reason, the first step I tend to take is precisely to get to know the student I am in front of, talking to him to identify and analyze together the difficulties encountered in the study. Subsequently, after having clarified this aspect, the approach that I believe functional will be chosen together to fill the present gaps, but also to make the student more aware of his abilities in order to be autonomous in the future.
Therefore, in addition to repetitions focused on a specific subject, I also offer general support in the study.
My private lessons are aimed at elementary, middle and high school students in the city of Trieste, while through the lessons via webcam, I address students from all backgrounds.
