Looking for a dedicated and experienced English tutor to support AQA GCSE success? As a current classroom teacher, I bring a strong track record of helping students achieve their full potential—whether that’s securing a top grade 9 or building confidence to reach a grade 4. I tailor my approach to each student, using a wide range of techniques grounded in modern educational research to support progress and engagement. From exam strategies to confidence-boosting skills, I focus on developing critical thinking, analytical writing, and a deeper understanding of texts, supporting in both Language and Literature. Lessons are 1 hour and can include a range of approaches depending on your need. I offer in-depth expertise in a range of AQA GCSE English Literature texts, including Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, A Christmas Carol, An Inspector Calls, Animal Farm, and Jekyll and Hyde, as well as both Love and Relationships and Power and Conflict poetry anthologies. With experience teaching diverse learners, I create an encouraging and focused learning environment, ensuring that each session is purposeful, supportive, and built around the student’s needs. Whether it’s essay structure, inference, or writing skills, I’m here to guide students towards achieving their personal best.
