About Andrea
Hello, I'm Andrea. I read English Literature BA (Hons) at university and I am an experienced primary school teacher with QTS.
I always ensure that my lessons are enjoyable. For example, I use lesson plans to teach the material in a fun and creative way, which enables my students to practise implementing the skills they have learnt. The plans can be adapted, based on the subject and the student's individual needs.
I have classroom tutoring experience with the National Tutoring Programme (NTP). I work directly with students who require additional assistance and I also run tutoring sessions after school.
I tutor in the core subjects, including Reading and English. My students have made excellent progress and it is always extremely rewarding to see them grow in confidence.
I enjoy helping my students to reach the best of their ability. Further, I often provide resources and tasks they can complete between sessions.
