About Stefania
Hello everyone! My name is Stefania, I am Italian with a passion for travels and foreign languages. I graduated in Biotechnology but later I attended a Master in Tourism to follow my desire to travel and discover the world. This path has led me to live and work abroad for many years, always in international contexts where the competence in foreign languages is fundamental. I have always loved studying languages and in addition to my school education, since I was a child I have followed courses abroad to improve my English, reaching a high level both in written and oral level and obtaining the IELTS international certificate of English issued by the British Council. In addition to my main occupation in the touristic field, I have been working for years as a tutor for the English and Spanish language giving lessons to secondary school students, university students and adults who want to improve their linguistic level for work, study or personal purposes.

I believe that grammar is fundamental in learning a language and that it is the essential basis in order to be able to speak and write correctly. The conversation and the aspect of spoken English is often the main difficulty for those who want to learn English as well as the main objective so I generally structure the lessons starting from the conversation, to understand where the main uncertainties and gaps are, and taking a cue from there to discuss the grammar rules. I try to balance the lesson with both aspects, conversation / vocabulary and grammar, adapting them to the specific needs of the student. At more advanced levels I often use articles or written essays to start the conversation and push the student to argue on different topics, thus acquiring new vocabulary and thought structures.
