About Zoe
I am a yr10 student at a top grammar school. I am predicted 9s and 8s in all subjects and have tutored young girls for the 11+ and some yr7 students in subjects all round. I’m enthusiastic and willing to help with whatever I can. I hope I can aid your child be the best they can be and succeed in whatever they wish to do.

My teaching method consist of 4 steps:
1) Identify what the student is struggling with, where they need help or don’t understand something. We can do this through tests, simple exercises or just talking about it.
2) Once we have identified our dilemma we will proceed to fix it in the best way possible for your child. I find that we all have ways of learning that work for us, for example, some people learn best with visuals, others by writing things down or reading it. We will find what works for you.
3) Now that we have identified where we need to improve, I will find the correct materials to do so. I will do my best to teach, explain and help where needed. Hopefully aiding the student to success!
4) Practise, I have no preference for homework or not, but when it comes to improving in something, you have to put in hard work. So, I will help you to the best of my ability’s by finding the right questions, books and words, yet at the end of the day the student has to take initiative.
In the fear of sounding cringe and overly enthusiastic, as John Holt said ‘ Learning is not the product of teaching. Learning is the product of the activity of learners.’
