About Kwesi
My favorite part of teaching is watching my students have their “Aha moment”; when they realize how all the facets of music relate to each other and their able to use music as a language to express their own personal creativity. My goal is to give you the tools you need to achieve complete freedom on your instrument, and for you to be able to translate what you learn to any other instrument you want to learn.

I have been a professional musician for almost 15 years now and have gotten the opportunity to record and tour with multiple national and international acts across many genres. I have studied theory and composition for almost my whole life and have worked with students for over a decade to help them find their own sound on their instrument. I was one of 48 graduates of the class of 2020 at the Lillehammer Institute of Music Production and Industries where I studied music production and songwriting. My genre of choice is modern jazz but I’m also experienced in Classical, Gospel, R&B, Pop, Rock, and more.
