About James
I have worked for over thirty years at the High School and College Level, helping students overcome many obstacles. Those obstacles may have been balancing a heavy AP workload of courses at the highest level or just overcoming conceptual issues at the lowest level. I have always encouraged my students to learn to develop strong organizational study skills that they can implement immediately as well as long after we have concluded our associations. With over three decades of experience and acquired expertise from tutoring advanced mathematics and sciences, my tenure as a private tutor has been dedicated to simplifying Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus, as well as Physics and Chemistry for High School and College students. This experience has essentially allowed me to foster an understanding of complex theories, enabling students to achieve academic success. This has been my core mission. My approach embraces patience, tailored teaching strategies, and a passion for subjects that are often perceived as challenging. This role has honed my ability to communicate intricate ideas effectively. I am committed to continuing my contribution to educational excellence by helping others unlock their potential. I have worked primarily online since 2012. I have found that students enjoy the comfort of their own surroundings and the ability to be able to go online in the later hours of the evening if necessary, or at any time during the weekends. I have access to the resources that are required to supplement my sessions. I look forward to working for you and assure you that there will be no conflict of interest. I am very ethical and, as well, compassionate and attentive to the needs of those who rely upon me and to the needs of those I enthusiastically serve.

We use Zoom. Download and install it. There is no video during our sessions. The session is highly interactive. All you need is paper, pencil, and a calculator if necessary. All I need is the material you need help with in advance. That would include an ISBN number for your text. Optionally you can upload any worksheets you need help with. Your free session will be used exclusively setting you up for future sessions and sorting out any other necessary details.
