About Rachel
I recently graduated from Smith College with an English degree and a 3.8 gpa, where I edited student papers for my work study position, equipping me with CRLA International Tutor Training Program Certification. I also studied Italian for ten years and studied in Florence for a semester, where I became nearly fluent staying with an Italian host family.

My personal mission and utmost skill is to help others reach understanding in the classroom. Grounded in my own experience with teachers and tutors who lacked the empathy or strategy to explain a student's source of confusion and anxiety, and my deep passion to show kids how to enjoy learning and apply those skills with their own agency, I believe I can successfully aid any student with academic excellence and personal growth. I love to read, I love to speak Italian, and I love teaching those things even more; if you hire me, I promise your kid will not only better grip the subject, but they will have fun doing it.
