About Iyla
I am an experienced Physics tutor with an MSc in Applied Physics and over 8 years of teaching students worldwide. My speciality lies in optics and wave phenomena, including light, sound, and electromagnetic waves. I believe Physics becomes engaging when abstract theories are connected to everyday life. Ray tracing, diffraction, and interference are areas where I help students build both understanding and accuracy. I introduce learners to practical applications in photonics, imaging sciences, and telecommunications. My approach blends theory with past paper practice for exam success. I believe Physics is best learnt when applied to real problems. My methodology brings concepts like fluid dynamics, statics, and materials science into practical contexts. This approach shows how Physics underpins everything from machines to modern structures. Lessons are calm and clear, designed to make difficult ideas approachable. I explain each concept step by step, using engineering examples to reinforce learning. Students practise applying theories to real-world challenges, which makes the subject more engaging. Exam preparation is an important part of my teaching. I guide students through past papers and problem-solving strategies to build speed and accuracy. For future teachers and computational physicists, I highlight analytical approaches that connect theory with practice. Physics should not feel distant or abstract—it should feel useful.
