About Arden
I have been teaching and performing guitar for many years, working with students of all ages to help them develop skill, confidence, and artistry. My teaching approach is patient, adaptable, and encouraging, creating a positive environment for musical growth. I focus on blending technique with expression so students can communicate through music effectively. Watching learners grow from beginners to confident performers is the most rewarding part of my work. Outside teaching, I perform, compose, and collaborate with other musicians. These experiences enrich lessons with practical insights, creativity, and real-world perspective that inspire students to play with confidence and individuality.

My guitar lessons emphasize the balance between technical skill and expressive musicianship. I teach students chord structures, scales, rhythm, fingerpicking, and improvisation while helping them explore creativity and develop a personal musical voice. Every session is tailored to the student’s goals and skill level.
Beginners learn foundational skills such as hand positioning, strumming patterns, and simple melodies. Intermediate students refine chord transitions, picking techniques, and stylistic variety. Advanced learners focus on tone shaping, advanced arrangements, improvisation, and performance techniques. Music theory and ear training are seamlessly incorporated to strengthen comprehension and versatility.
I encourage students to connect emotionally with the guitar, helping them play with feeling and confidence. Lessons foster creativity, self-expression, and enjoyment, transforming technical practice into meaningful musical experience.
