About Pedro
As long as Pedro Alcàcer can remember, music has inspired him. The sounds, the movements of the hands that produce these sounds have captivated him since he was a child. As the son of the Catalan guitarist Francesc Alcàcer, Pedro grew up surrounded by music, musicians and instruments. Pedro sang in the school choir without missing a rehearsal. Pedro played in rock and jazz bands as a teenager. Pedro discovered baroque music through a music teacher in his school and graduated in classical guitar. Pedro then moved to Europe in 2006, where he obtained a diploma for classical lute (?) At the University of the Arts in Bremen. Pedro is multilingual and teaches genre in German, Spanish, Catalan, Italian and English.

Pedro has been teaching guitar for 13 years. He is open to every style of music and every level. For Pedro, the focus is on the student and the clearest possible idea of what he wants to play. For him, the focus is on the fun and enthusiasm of his students for music. Ultimately, it is this desire of the student that gives him the strength to learn. The instrument is only a means on one's own path to music. Instrumental virtuosity is not the goal itself.
