About Ivy
I am a guitar tutor with 4 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Guitar Studies. My journey with music started through a fascination with melody, rhythm, and performance, which eventually inspired me to become an educator. Teaching allows me to share that passion with learners from different backgrounds.
My approach focuses on patience, creativity, and practical skill development. I enjoy helping students understand not only how to play music but also how to express themselves through it. Every learner receives support tailored to their personal goals and interests.
I believe music can build confidence, discipline, and creativity. Helping students progress from uncertainty to confident playing is one of the most satisfying parts of my work. I look forward to guiding learners as they continue growing as musicians.

My guitar lessons focus on helping students become confident and capable musicians through practical learning and consistent encouragement. I create lessons that balance technique, creativity, and musical understanding so learners can enjoy the process while making steady progress. Every session is designed to build skills in a supportive environment.
Students explore chord fluency, strumming control, fingerstyle patterns, solo phrasing, vibrato techniques, tone adjustment, and musical interpretation. I use familiar songs, guided exercises, and structured practice methods to help concepts feel clear and achievable. Lessons are adapted to suit each student's learning style and goals.
I enjoy helping learners strengthen their abilities while discovering their own musical identity. Individual feedback and step-by-step guidance help students overcome challenges and remain motivated. My goal is to make learning guitar both rewarding and enjoyable.
