About Alan
Hi! I’m Alan, a professional guitar player and content creator with over one million followers across my social media. I’ve been playing guitar for over 20 years.
I studied Music Education, specializing in Jazz Guitar, but I’ve been largely self-taught throughout most of my life, learning directly from music, records, and real playing situations.
In my early years, I played in several rock bands, which helped me develop a strong sense of groove, dynamics, and real-world musicianship. Over the last few years, my focus has shifted toward teaching guitar and creating educational content, reaching guitar players all over the world.
My playing and teaching are influenced by Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Mayer, Richie Kotzen, Guthrie Govan, and Robben Ford.
As a teacher, my goal is to help students understand how music works, develop their own voice, and feel free on the instrument—not just play exercises, but make music with confidence and intention.
I believe in a practical, musical approach that connects theory, technique, and feel, always adapted to each student’s goals.
