About Andy
I have been teaching privately for the past 17+ years. For face-to-face lessons, I require all minors (below 18 years of age) to be accompanied by an adult who will remain for the duration of the lesson. I have played/performed for over 30 years on stages to nearly empty halls all the way to 20,000 people crowds. I know what it's like to prepare for shows and will help you find your method for performance. We learn songs and musical principles and then we prepare them to a performance-ready level by polishing your technique.

I Love to teach! I try to mix up lessons to keep things challenging but also fun. Music reading and the fundamentals of music is something you'll learn along the way, all the while trying to take a very functional approach to your playing. This means we will learn songs as soon as possible to apply the lessons you've learned.
At the most basic level you could be playing along with radio tunes in the first month.
I use many different types of technologies and teach many different types of musical styles to students who are beginners through advanced levels with an emphasis on fundamentals.
Students of mine have gone on to study music at University while some have even gone on to Berklee school of music in Boston. Other students are local performers/songwriters, and promoters seeking to further their abilities through live performances.
It would be a privilege to assist you in your musical journey and education.
