Über mich! About me!
Ich heiße Jeff and I was born in England. My wife is from Germany.
I am a qualified school teacher (Bachelor of Teaching) with over 15 years experience including over 5 years teaching German to children of all ages. I love outdoor sports as well as craft activities, baking, gardening and fitness. German language and culture has been my passion for many years and I am a fluent speaker and writer.
Learning German with someone who has learned themselves means that you will be able to tackle those notorious tricky bits through fun activities from the perspective of a native English speaker who has already tackled them. Los geht's!

Lernen soll Spaß machen! Learning should be fun! Especially for children! Learn German through games, puppetry, singing, crafting, baking, role play, reading stories etc. This makes learning natural and will of course be embedded with interesting task-based learning activities. Learning will be in German, with some English only used to clarify grammar or vocabulary as necessary.
Of course for older learners lessons are still to be fun but focus on meaningful topics to broaden your skills in speaking, reading, listening and writing german. Again accompanied with lots of stimulating task based activities to reinforce learning.
A lesson typically lasts 1 hour but you will receive specific feedback and plenty of Hausaufgabe (homework)! So, let's get started with your first free lesson. Mach's gut und bis bald!
