About Risha
I'm a rising third-year student at Northwestern University! I'm studying Chemistry on the pre-med track for a BA , as well as Voice & Opera for a BM. I've been an active tutor since freshman year of high school, and have developed several programs in high school and college to enhance student tutoring experiences! I've taken math up to multivariable calculus / linear algebra, and have finished both general and organic chemistry, as well as biochemistry. As an avid tutor and STEM enthusiast, I care about being a part of others' learning journeys! I've learned a lot from my time tutoring and from the mentors that I've had, and am passionate about using it to help others.

I've tutored several STEM subjects since high school and love to work with all ages! I can tutor K-12 for math, and high school / college students for chemistry. A typical lesson plan with me entails a subject overview, detailed practice problems, and conceptual review. I also love to help students enhance studying strategies and their studying timelines before assessments. I've obtained great resources for these subjects over my years of tutoring, and am glad to share them with students for their independent study too.
I'm also an active tutor for high school seniors looking to enhance their college applications! This includes creating strong resumes and activity descriptions, as well as writing strong essays that really highlight who you are, not just in an academic setting.
I'm passionate about giving students a helping hand, and hope that you'll consider me!
