About Yip
I am a passionate and experienced singing tutor with over 10+ years of teaching college students, and I am dedicated to helping each student discover and strengthen their unique voice. My teaching approach focuses on building a strong technical foundation while also encouraging creativity, confidence, and self-expression.
I guide students through essential vocal techniques such as breath control, pitch accuracy, tone development, vocal strength, and flexibility, ensuring that they develop a healthy and balanced voice. In addition to technical training, I emphasise performance skills such as stage presence, emotional expression, and audience connection, helping students become confident performers.
I use innovative tools like audio recording, playback analysis, and structured practice routines to help students clearly track their progress and improve effectively. I also encourage students to explore a wide range of music genres so they can become versatile singers and discover their own artistic style. My lessons are personalised, supportive, and interactive, creating a positive and motivating learning environment.

My Singing teaching methodology is based on motivation, communication, creativity, and time management. I believe that every student can improve with the right guidance and practice. I motivate students to stay confident and enjoy the learning process.
I communicate clearly and break down each concept into small steps so it becomes easy to understand. I include creative learning methods like song-based practice, vocal exercises, and performance training.
I manage time carefully in every class to balance technique, practice, and feedback. This helps students learn in an organised and effective way.
In addition to Singing, I also cover related areas like music basics, ear training, and voice care.
