About Sorin
I worked as a Peer Tutor to fellow undergraduate students while studying at Harvard University and after graduating I was a volunteer tutor with The Access Project. During my Master in Public Policy degree from the Harvard Kennedy School, I worked as a Section Leader for Ec 10, the introductory Economics course, with Professors Laibson and Furman.
I have also volunteered as a mentor and career coach with The Prince's Trust and Unlocking Potential.
I received a Certificate of Distinction in Teaching from Harvard University – based on student feedback – for teaching Ec10.
Currently, I am studying towards a Certificate in Counselling Skills, which is highly useful for tutoring and mentoring.
Professionally, I have several years of experience working as an investment professional in funds based in New York City and London. In 2015, I received an award for the highest score worldwide on the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment Certificate in Investment Management.
