£15/hr with the first lesson free, just to see if I’m a good fit. Since I’m actively studying Chemistry at university and only sat my A-levels a year ago, the content is still incredibly fresh. I use every part of A-level Chemistry daily — including inorganic and physical chemistry, which are often dropped in other science degrees. Even if your course includes content mine didn’t, chances are I’ve covered it at uni. I was the A-level student not long ago. I know the pressures, the exam techniques, and the content — and more importantly, I know how to explain the hard bits in a way that actually makes sense to another student. In Computer Science, the same applies to a slightly lesser extent. Modern chemistry has a monumental basis in computing — from data analysis to computational modelling — so I’m still using my A-level Computer Science almost daily.
