About Uma
I have been practicing yoga since 2012 but the desire to pass on came to me from one of my stays in India.
Since 2018, I have been a certified hatha yoga teacher RYT 200h by Yoga alliance and certified in Gravity yoga.
I was trained by the Sivananda International Yoga Vedanta Centers (2018) and I also followed training with the Gasquet Institute in Paris (2019) and with the Yoga Teachers College (2020).
And I continue to train regularly to better understand the philosophy, the techniques and the alignments.
I teach at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center in Paris and Geneva, at the Hindou Dharma Sangh Cultural Center in Paris but also in French and American universities and grandes écoles.
I teach in French and English, in groups or in private lessons.
The practice of yoga has brought me so much that I want to pass it on and share it.

I was trained to teach in a traditional way respecting the traditions of yoga. Create a space respectful of all, a bubble of well-being. But I tailor my classes to the level of my students, making sure that each practitioner understands the adjustments while respecting his body. The real teacher is your body.
Also, using Gravity Yoga techniques and at the request of the students, I can help you increase your mobility and open up your body.

Well Uma is very attentive to your emotions without being too indulgent & knows how to keep you moving to unlock your emotional blockages .... that a lot to do without words
Uma est d’abord une belle personne qui prend le temps de connaitre l’autre, son état d’esprit et le corps qu’il habite. Le yoga qu’elle enseigne est donc parfaitement aligné avec la personne que vous êtes aujourd'hui mais aussi celle que vous voulez devenir. This is a genuine recommendation note for Fabian!!! I met with her during our Yoga Teacher Training Course (TTC) at The Bahamas in 2018, luckily she was my room mate so I know her personally as well as her yoga teaching skills. She presented a great commitment and enthusiasm during TTC with open heart and open mind. She has been teaching many students in person and online all around the world. I am confident to say that she is one of the best yoga teacher as she has great knowledge and facilitation skills. Yoga aims to lift the mind, body and spirit. Fabian inspires student bringing an uplifting presence to every class. She always takes care of her students while teaching yoga.
