About Katherine
I studied Psychology in Venezuela and then moved to Barcelona, Spain to be closer to family and get my Masters. Then got married and move to the US with my husband for his work.
In the meantimeIstarted Nanning to keep my self busy and to my surprise, a few families that I worked for, asked mefor Spanish lessons for their kids.
Since the pandemic, I continued the lessons online and have mastered a few resources to make it more fun and entertaining. I really enjoy seeing my students progressing and being close to be fully bilingual, not only talking, but reading and writing also with a growing vocabulary that will make them proficient.

I was born and raised in Venezuela, but my mother is from Spain, so I know very well the differences and similarities from the language in Spain and Latin America.
Have been teaching kids spanish for the past 5 years, and have a background in psychology. It's because of that, I understand how people process information and also that people learn in different ways.
Language is a lot like that, you can use different ways, forms, words to expressthe same thing. It just have to be the right way for you.
