Hi, I’m Isaac — a passionate musician, worship guitarist, songwriter, and teacher with over 7 years of experience. Since 2018, I’ve taught more than 80 students, guiding them from their first chords to confidently performing, recording, and even writing their own music. I currently serve as a worship guitarist and music director at River City Church, where I lead and play in live worship settings. This experience has shaped my ability to teach not just technical skills, but also the heart and discipline of playing music in a band or worship team environment. Alongside teaching, I also work as a guitar technician and run Zac Nation Music Studio, giving me hands-on knowledge that I love passing on to students. My Teaching Background • Diploma in Music with training in performance and music education. • Experienced in teaching acoustic guitar, basic electric guitar, bass guitar, and keyboard. • Specialized in pop, gospel, and jazz styles, with strong experience in worship music. • Skilled in songwriting and background composition, helping students build creativity alongside performance skills. • Over 7 years of teaching experience, with more than 80 students trained in one-on-one and group settings. My Approach to Teaching I believe that music is both a skill and a calling. My lessons aim to build your technique while also nurturing your creativity and confidence. • Student-Centered: Lessons are tailored to your goals—whether you want to strum worship songs, build your technique, or write your own music. • Balanced Learning: Combining fundamentals (chords, rhythm, scales, and theory) with real-world application. • Worship-Focused Option: For students interested in church music, I teach how to flow with a worship team, follow a music director, and serve through music. • Creative Exploration: Guidance in songwriting, arranging, and background composition. • Performance Ready: I use backing tracks, recording, and live-playing approaches to build stage and band confidence.
