About Jin
I have a masters in music and a cert for teaching English as a second language. I enjoy teaching, and homeschooled my own children where we spent hours exploring all sorts of story books and literature. In the process I also had the privilege of guiding and helping other young people, in hopes that they’d become proficient in English and to also love books!

I’ve led book clubs for young learners and have experience in teaching English to non native speakers, as well as secondary students.
For primary children and those seeking to learn English as a second language, I enjoy teaching English through exploration of story books and good reading materials. Reading/listening/speaking/writing activities will then be derived from reading material in ways that engage the learner.
