About Iqra Yasar
Hi, I’m Iqra Zafar, and I’m passionate about teaching because I believe that learning should be meaningful, engaging, and empowering. My goal as an educator is not just to help students succeed academically but to inspire curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love for learning. I have 11 years of experience in teaching science subjects, particularly Chemistry and Biology, and I specialize in helping students develop skills, such as critical thinking, problem-solving, or creative writing. My teaching philosophy is centered around making learning personal and practical—connecting lessons to real-life experiences, encouraging questions, and adapting my approach to suit each student's unique strengths and challenges. I chose to become a teacher because I love seeing students grow, not just in their knowledge but in their confidence and ability to think independently. Every student has potential, and my role is to guide, support, and challenge them to reach their goals. Whether you’re looking to improve your skills, prepare for an exam, or simply explore a subject in a new and exciting way, I’m here to help! I look forward to learning together with you!

My teaching approach is student-centered, meaning I tailor each lesson to the individual needs, learning styles, and goals of my students. I focus on interactive learning, critical thinking, and practical application rather than just memorization. I use a combination of engaging discussions, real-life examples, active learning strategies like problem-solving, hands-on activities, and interactive exercises. personalized feedback, regular assessments and reflections to track progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly. My lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, though this can be adjusted based on the student’s needs. I am a dedicated educator with extensive experience in teaching and tutoring. I offer private lessons for middle and high school students. If you're looking for engaging, personalized lessons that help you truly understand and apply what you learn, I’d love to work with you!
