About Rebecca
I am a distinction-average student at university and earned High Achievement in both English and Mathematics at high school. My tutoring specialty is literacy and numeracy, working with children of pre-school and primary school ages. I am registered to work with vulnerable people and children in Tasmania and have completed anaphylaxis, asthma, CPR, and first aid training.
Literacy and Numeracy are really important foundational skills for children growing up in our modern, digital society - no child should be without them. I love to help kids find their footing, and develop confidence in themselves as they learn and grow.
I offer a complimentary 30-minute first lesson for a meet-and-greet, and to evaluate the areas your child can improve in. Discounted rates are available for bulk lesson purchases.

A strong believer in building children's confidence as well as their skills, I aim to provide tailored lessons that focus attention where it is needed, whilst building on their strengths.
I generally try to keep lesson lengths to a maximum of 30 or 60 minutes (depending on the age and needs of the child), however this can be negotiated as needed.
My lessons take a multifaceted approach, incorporating guided reading, creative writing, activities, exercises, and games into structured lesson time to keep children challenged and engaged.
