About Emily
For my lessons, I create personalized plans for each student, ensuring that nothing slips through the cracks. To make meaningful progress and build a student's studying skills, I will do a brief assessment before and after each lesson. Mistakes will be embraced as learning opportunities.
I began my MFA degree during the height of the pandemic and am very familiar with online learning because of it. From this experience as a teacher and a student, I fully understand the importance of clear and efficient communication. Mutual respect is essential for any student-teacher relationship.

My goal is to meet students where they are. I facilitate growth by paying special attention to a student's passions and needs. In academia, as in life itself, I teach from my own experience, fostering relationships, trust, and confidence. My specialities are Fine Arts (2D and 3D), Art History, and Spanish.
