About Thomas
I actually have 3 college degrees and have 20 plus years experience in teaching and tutoring in all subject areas but my favorite in all my years, even back in elementary school, has been math. I have always loved math and have many ways to explain concepts that seem to elude others. I have studied how math curriculum is built so I know the step by step process needed to arrive at a full understanding of concepts and what is needed for a robust knowledgeability. I also do not quit easily and will continue to work with anyone who wants to learn no matter how many times or different ways a concept needs to be presented.

My lessons always start with you telling me what you are stuck on and frustrated with. I will back up to what you are comfortable with by using targeted questions and then slowly progressing forward step by step through what you are experiencing difficulties with. If you need help with homework I can help with each problem you are assigned and be sure you understand the solution and how to arrive at it. If you have an upcoming exam I can help you study for it by assigning increasing levels of questions and then helping you through ones you have problems with. I have worked with all level of students before from first grade through Geometry and Algebra 2 and college preparatory exams like ACT and SAT. I am experienced and knowledgeable.
