About Evan
I am a young, professional with a PhD in engineering and have taught math to college students for 3 years. I genuinely love to teach students of all levels and am eager to begin teaching once again. I believe in the importance of teaching by example. My lessons typically consist of instructive example problems where big-picture discussions of the value of the method are presented post-solution! I believe that this approach peaks a students interest and then solidifies how useful this method might be in everyday-life. Long theoretical discussions before presenting students with example problems are minimal in my lessons as many students lose focus by the end of them.
