About Hincu
I am an experienced English and ESL tutor with a strong background in supporting children and young people aged 6–16, including those preparing for KS2 SATs, 11+, and GCSE examinations. My approach is rooted in clear structure, high expectations, and steady progress. I believe in giving students the tools they need to build lasting confidence, not quick fixes.
Over the years, I have supported a wide range of learners, including SEND students and those who have become disengaged from school. I take pride in providing lessons that are consistent, purposeful, and tailored to each learner’s needs. My teaching style is straightforward: identify the gaps, teach the skills properly, and reinforce them through meaningful practice. No shortcuts, just solid learning.
I currently run Learn with Aly, my tutoring service, where I help international learners strengthen their English skills, improve fluency, and prepare for academic or exam-related goals in the UK. Whether a student needs to boost core English skills, refine exam technique, or gain confidence using English in real contexts, I provide structured, reliable support.

My lessons are structured, purposeful, and designed to secure real progress. Every session begins with a quick check of prior learning so I can identify exactly where the gaps are. From there, I deliver clear, step-by-step teaching, followed by guided practice to ensure the student can apply the skills independently. For ESL learners, lessons include vocabulary development, grammar accuracy, speaking confidence, reading comprehension, and writing skills. I also support exam preparation for KS2 SATs, 11+, and GCSE English, with a strong emphasis on technique, structure, and revision strategies.
All lessons are tailored to the learner’s ability and goals. Students receive honest feedback, targeted improvement points, and ongoing support to help them develop confidence and consistency. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all teaching; every session is shaped around what the student genuinely needs.

I charge a fixed rate of £30 per hour for all lessons. This reflects the level of preparation, personalised planning, and ongoing support I provide for each student. My sessions are fully tailored, structured, and focused on measurable progress, whether the learner is improving general English skills, preparing for exams, or building confidence in ESL.
The rate covers:
Individual lesson planning
Bespoke resources and practice materials
Regular progress checks and feedback
Clear targets set for each stage of learning
I do not add hidden fees or extras. The price is the same for online and in-person sessions (where available). Families can book single sessions or set up a regular timetable, depending on what suits their needs best.
