About Sophia
Hi! I am Sophia I am on my gap year before I go to study veterinary medicine at university. I have always enjoyed learning at school so why not pass that on to others! I know how challenging school can be and this can make the whole process even more difficult and daunting. So I want to make it fun and relaxed for you. I will do my best, I am not a teacher and so I won’t replace yours but I can try and help explain things in a slightly different way or give you the extra time that you need. What I do with my other student is she tells me in advance what she wants to do she brings her resources and we look at it together. I am not going to pretend either that with A level work in particular that I can do it all I can’t and some questions are still hard for me too! But I can help with the majority. In my A level subjects. And give you the keys to success.

My sessions will help to support you and give you my top tips while you are studying for your upcoming exams. I want to make our sessions fun and productive. So they will be led by you! I have previously worked in a primary school as a gap student so I have more experience supporting students although I would like to work with GCSE students and above. My sessions would typically last an hour and I have tutored A level chemistry before. Personally, I achieved all A* at A level including in my EPQ so if that is of interest I can help there too. I have also achieved and accepted offers to study veterinary medicine so if a student would like support with the application process I am more than happy to help with that as well.
