About Princess
My name is Princess Adeyi, and I am from Lagos, Nigeria. I'm currently a Senior at a boarding school in Asheville, North Carolina. Next year I will be attending UNC in the fall as a Morehead Scholar who will be majoring in Neuroscience, and minoring in Spanish, and Arabic. I am kind, and empathetic towards people no matter who they are or what they believe in. Spanish has always been something that I've loved ever since I decided to study it beginning in 6th grade. I was the girl who talked to herself in the mirror, and changed the language settings on her phone to Spanish. I think that being able to speak another language is an important skill that everyone should have the opportunity to have. It makes you a more informed person, and helps you to be a better global citizen.

My philosophy with language learning is in order to get good at it, you have to speak it. Lessons will be centered around conversational style where we will try to speak in Spanish as much as possible for the specific level. I also believe that learning should be fun and interactive, so you can expect to play lots of games and be engaged.
